SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- The annual Leper Con festivities were cut short on Saturday night after dozens of crazed leprechauns invaded the San Diego Convention Center and started wreaking havok.

"This is the only time of year where I get to bond with people who share this affliction," remarked attendee Julie Kosmo. "These leprechauns were destroying everything and eating our food. Because of my disease, I know what it is like to be stereotyped, so I try to avoid doing it myself. Right now though, I hate all leprechauns!"

The San Diego Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
